Jen Watson- LMP, Certified Doula, Childbirth Educator, MOM
After attending a friends birth I knew that birth was the place for me. I wanted to know more about birth and how to advocate, support, comfort and use my massage skills to help laboring women. I completed Seattle Midwifery Schools Doula Program in 2003 and started attending births as a volunteer at UW Hospital. The UW was a great place to gain experience. They are a busy hospital serving a very diverse community. I also volunteered with their expecting multiples class, the only one in the state. I moved to Kitsap in 2008 and have been a doula, massage therapist and private/community childbirth educator.
I love birth and helping families enter parenthood. It is my greatest joy to see women get what they need in labor. It is my goal to help you achieve the birth of your dreams. I bring all my knowledge of the body & birth to support mothers and babies on their journey through the birth process. It is a great honor to walk alongside any woman who wants my support.
I reside in Poulsbo with my husband, two children and many pets.
I am available at Salmonberry Birth Center for massage on Mondays, Fridays and some Saturdays. I share space with the ladies of Salmonberry Midwifery and often attend births with them as a doula.

Kerry Allen – Childbirth Educator, MA, MOM
Birth has become a guiding force in my life. When I became pregnant with my daughter Jessie, I realized I knew nothing about pregnancy, birth and beyond. So I set about educating myself through reading, videos and questioning any one who would answer my 101 questions. At the same time I was teaching at a continuation high school and most of my students were pregnant or fathers. I was horrified by the misinformation they were receiving. Several of my students asked me to teach them classes on child birth. So I informally launched into my current career. From there I continued to seek information for my self and my clients. I worked for a year and a half to become a certified childbirth educator.
Both Kerry and Jen are active in the birth community attending births, teaching classes, encapsulating placentas and providing support for all the growing families.
